Regular promotion to the officials who are officiating as JTOs. A good number off officials, who are qualified for JTO promotion and who are officiating as JTOs, are awaiting regular JTO promotion for a long period. As Officiating JTOs, they are performing all the duties off JTO. It is most unjustified to extract the works and responsibilities of JTOs from these officials, without giving them regular JTO promotion. Hence, immediate steps may be taken to promote all these officials as regular JTOs, through personal up gradation or by creating supernumerary posts.
