Emergency General Body Meeting Gujarat Circle

The emergency General Body meeting of GUJRAT Circle held on Feb 16^th 2014 at 1100 Hrs at Railwaypura Telephone Exchange, Railwaypura, Saranpur, Ahmadabad. Large number of Gujarat Circle Officiating JTOs are attended the Meeting. Sri Parik, Sri R.C.Manwar and Sri B.A. Rao are arranged the meeting. After detailed discussion our GS Sri N.Kabeerdas addressed the meeting. The following points are discussed in the meeting.

1)    Implementation of FR22 (1) a (1) for all Officiating JTOs throughout India from 2005.

2)    Views and suggestions from all Recognized Associations/ Unions regarding Amendments in JTO (T) RR 2001 called as JTO (T) RR 2014.

3)    Process of Regularization in Corporate Office through Amendments in RR.

4)    Different court cases pending in different states regarding Supernumerary / Reserving of Vacancies etc.

5)     PCAT New Delhi cases status and further proceedings.

Latest news regarding Our Regularization issue

Today our GS Sri N.Kabeerdas met senior officers in corporate office to follow up the Regularization issue. During the discussion they said that final note is prepared after taking the views and suggestions from Unions/Associations. It will be sent today or tomorrow to BSNL committee constituted for the amendments in the JTO(T) RR 2001 called as JTO(T) RR 2014. After their approval it will be sent to Management Committee and Finally for Board Approval.

Our GS Sri N.Kabeerdas met Sri Prahlad Rai GS AIBSNLEA and Sri Sebastian GS SNEA at Corporate office and requested them to follow up our long pending regularization issue through early completion of amendments in JTO RR.

Contempt case status

Contempt case regarding Implementation of FR22 (1)a(1) for all Officiating JTO’s    CP 515/2013 of OA 1282/2010 heard on today at Principal CAT, New Delhi. BSNL Officers Association side Adv. Smt. Rani Chbra  and Respondents side Adv. Sri Sameer Agarwal attended the court. After the Respondents advocate argument Hon’ble Judges Mr. G. George Paracken and Mr. Shekhar Agarwal taken seriously and directed the Respondents Advocate to submit the compliance report within 15 days from today and the next date of hearing will be on 13^th March 2014.

Latest Position of our issues and GS tour to Delhi

As per our Legal Consultant information the MA regarding Implementation of FR22(1)a(1) for all Officiating JTOs and the Contempt Case  CP 515/2013 of OA 1282/2010 BSNLOA Vs CMD BSNL will be heard on 11-02-2014 and 12-02-2014 respectively in the Principal CAT, New Delhi. Our Central Coordinator is attending the cases. After the cases Our GS will follow up the Regularization issue in The Corporate Office and meet the Union/Association Leaders.

All the State, SSA coordinators are requested to contact our Central Coordinator and send the Legal Fund to meet all the Legal and other expenses.

RJ members met Sri Prahlad Rai GS AIBSNLEA

RJ Circle coordinator Sri P.S.Chanda along with other association members met Sri Prahlad Rai GS AIBSNLEA at Inspection Quarters Bilwara on 09-02-2014. They discussed our Regularization issue with him. Sri Rai responded positively and told that the issue will be settled with in a short period after MC and Board approval.

05.02.2014: GS met GM (Estt.) and discussed

a) Modification in JTO-RR-2001:GM (Estt.) mentioned that feed back / comments from all the unions/ associations have been received which will be submitted to MC within next 10-15 days. He also, mentioned that on the issue of fixation of seniority of JTO's, associations may submit suggestions immediately to incorporate in the JTO RRs-2014.
