27.01.2014:  GS met GM (Estt.) and discussed regarding

(i) Framing of JTO RR-2014: We submitted our suggestions/ views in person and requested for an early action to finalize the JTO RRs-2014 as suggested by the association. GM (Estt.) mentioned that till now only few Unions/ Associations have given their views and suggestions/ views from other unions are awaited. However, he further mentioned that the views given by our Association were expected and these will be looked into. He assured an early action in this regard.

Our Emergency Meetings at AP Circle and Meeting with SNEA Leaders

On 20-01-2014 Hyderabad SSA Officiating JTOs Emergency Meeting was held at BSNLEU Office, BSNL Bhavan  and Majority members (i.e. More Than 95 % ) expressed to take the Regularization on Prospective for which the BSNL Management processing for Revision of JTO (T) RR 2011 called as JTO (T) RR 2014.

On 23-01-2014 AP Circle Officiating JTOs Emergency Meeting was held at Conference Hall, Irrigation NGO Home, NSP Guest house,  Ongole,  AP and Majority members (i.e. 99 % ) expressed to take the Regularization on Prospective for which the BSNL Management processing for Revision of JTO (T) RR 2011 called as JTO (T) RR 2014.

On 24-01-2014 on invitation from SNEA AP Circle Our GS Sri N.Kabeerdas attended the Open Session at XXth Circle conference of SNEA in which AP Circle CGM Sri Srinivasan, SNEA GS Sri Sebastian and SNEA President Sri Jogi , SNEA veteran leaders and Circle/Central Office bearers of Other Unions/Associations are also present. In that Open Session Our GS requested the SNEA GS and President to take initiation for early resolution of both the cases Regularization and FR22(1)a(1) Implementation for all Officiating JTOs from 2005.

After the Open Session Our GS along with our members available at Ongole met Sri Sebastian GS SNEA and Sri Jogi Prsident SNEA  personally for requesting to take initiation on Regularization. Sri Jogi appealed us to take Regularization what the Management is offered and after Regularization fight for your rights. Sri Sebastian said that “ if you ask for Seniority at this stage the Management will go back and Regularization process will be stopped and we may not say when you will be Regularized”.

Our prolonged demand of Revision of RR of JTO(T) 2001  has been accepted by the Management and a draft RR has been prepared and circulated among Associations. This has paved the way for early regularisation of officiating JTOs

This was the original proposal of this Association since 2004 to make them JTOs as a onetime measure by amending the RRs but it took 8 years due to conflicting demands and all of them lost precious 8 years service.

However this Association strongly and unequivocally condemn the move of BSNL Management to demote the cadre of JTO by recommending E1 Pay Scale to the cadre of JTO in the draft JTO Recruitment Rule. We are fully committed to expose and defeat the sinister designs of BSNL Management to denigrate the cadre of JTO. We have tirelessly struggled for decades to uplift the cadre of JTO and we shall shed every drop of our blood to ensure that the JTO cadre does not in any way loose its dignity and strategic importance in the company.

       We appeal to our comrades throughout the Country to gear-up organisationally and be prepared for organisational actions to defeat the diabolical designs of BSNL Management lock stock and barrel. Let us not leave any stone unturned to preserve the dignity and strategic importance of the cadre of JTO.
